[ Fundraiser ] We are immensely grateful for the success of our annual Charity Ride and Walk event on Sunday in partnership with Human Appeal Australia and Sydney Muslim Cyclists. Alhamdulillah, we were blessed with ideal weather conditions for the event. It was heartening to see almost 200 MFIS students, parents, alumni, and staff come together to support the fundraiser for Gaza and Sudan.
Thanks to our parent committee members and the incredible generosity of our school community, we managed to raise over $12,000.
Special thanks to Sydney Muslim Cyclists for their expert mentorship and assistance in leading the cyclists and the group of walkers. We would also like to express our gratitude to the owners of The Last Slice at Sydney Olympic Park for their generosity and the delicious pizzas that everyone enjoyed at the end of the event.
It was a wonderful day filled with physical activity and the spirit of giving, all for a worthy cause.
