[Forum] On Tuesday, August 21st, 2024, MFIS had the privilege of hosting the Australian Islamic Schools’ “Teaching and Learning from an Islamic Worldview” education forum at our Hoxton Park campus. This event was organized by the Islamic Schools Association of Australia and the Centre for Islamic Thought and Education (CITE-ISAA, NSW).
Presenters:
Dr. Farah Ahmed: “He Came to Teach You Your Deen: Learning from Hadith Jibril.”
Dr. Claire Alkouatli: “Concentric Expansions: From Islamic Worldview to Transformative Human Development.”
Sr. Samah Taki: “Key Takeaways for School and Classroom Renewal: Dialogic Session.”
The forum aimed to exchange effective practices and foster discussions on comprehensively and holistically centering the “Islamic Worldview” in our schools.
We extend our gratitude to all forum attendees, the schools that participated, and the CITE team, led by Prof. Mohamed Abdalla, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nadeem Memon, and Br. Dylan Chown.
