Last Friday, 8 August 2025, we were honoured to welcome Sheikh Ahmad Al Sheikhi from Illinois, USA, and Dr Ammar Saadeh from Texas, USA, to our Greenacre campuses.
Sheikh Ahmad Al Sheikhi is an Islamic scholar known for his work in Quranic education, particularly his Bidaya curriculum for learning and reading the Quran. He has taught in various communities across Europe and the United States for over two decades. He is also the author of the Bidaya textbook and the director of the Mecca Center’s Quran Memorization program in the USA.
Their visit included a tour of Greenacre Secondary and Greenacre Primary, where they explored our facilities and met with staff.
They also visited our primary classrooms, engaging with our learners and witnessing the vibrant learning environment first-hand.
We thank Sheikh Ahmad and Dr Ammar for their time and look forward to future opportunities to connect and collaborate.
